Our Training Courses
CETI offers technical and industrial training courses dedicated to textile materials, processing technologies and sustainability challenges.
Designed by Industry experts, these courses are based on CETI’s pilot-scale equipment, technological platforms and extensive industrial project feedback.
The current training offer notably covers:
Nonwovens (Spunmelt processes, Drylaid processes, consolidation, lamination and finishing),
Polymers and textile fibers,
Processing and manufacturing technologies,
Material characterisation and testing,
Textile recycling and eco-design,
Technical and sustainable textiles.
Training courses are delivered at CETI either as inter-company or intra-company sessions.
Tailor-made adaptations can also be developed on request, to best match participants’ profiles and specific industrial needs.

Exploring the World of Nonwoven
This training course enables participants to develop their knowledge of nonwoven products and markets, the different technologies used for their production, and highlights current industrial development trends.
Compounding & Spinning Processes
This training enables participants to deepen their understanding of the carding process, raw materials and its advantages, and to understand the influence of process parameters on nonwoven product properties.
Textile Recycling – Introduction
This training enables participants to deepen their understanding of the carding process, raw materials and its advantages, and to understand the influence of process parameters on nonwoven product properties.
Fundamentals of Eco-Design
This training course enables participants to develop their knowledge of nonwoven products and markets, the different technologies used for their production, and highlights current industrial development trends.
Teaching Approach
CETI’s teaching approach is strongly application-oriented and industry-driven.
It is based on:
Structured technical contributions,
Practical case studies derived from industrial projects,
Demonstrations and hands-on practical work on pilot lines and testing equipment,
Direct exchanges with expert trainers specialised in textile R&D.
The objective of the training courses is to ensure the transfer of operational skills, directly applicable in an industrial environment.
