Privacy Policy

This Personal Data Privacy Policy (the “Policy”) sets out CETI’s approach to personal data on the website www.ceti.com (the “Website”). The purpose of this Policy is to inform you of the conditions under which CETI collects personal data, the reasons for which such data is collected, how it is used, and your rights. This Policy applies to all information provided directly by you or collected by CETI when you browse the Website.

When browsing the Website, CETI may collect personal data relating to you. Personal data includes in particular:

  • Identifying information, such as your title, the name of your organisation, your position, telephone number, postal address and email address, in order to respond to your contact requests or send you newsletters;

  • Electronic identification data available on or from your computer, tablet or mobile phone (such as cookies or IP addresses). This electronic identification data makes it possible to identify your device or the pages consulted on the Website during your browsing session.

Right of Access, Rectification, DELETION and Objection 

You have the right to access, rectify or delete your personal data, as well as the right to object to the processing of such data. These rights may be exercised at any time by sending an email to contact@ceti.com.

However, due to CETI’s obligations regarding the security and confidentiality of personal data, your request will be processed subject to proof of your identity. This may include providing a scanned copy of a valid identity document (for online requests) or a signed photocopy of a valid identity document (for written requests).

CETI undertakes to respond to any request for access, rectification, objection or additional information within a reasonable timeframe, which shall not exceed one month from receipt of the request.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the EU Member State of your habitual residence, place of work or the place where the alleged infringement occurred, if you consider that the processing of your personal data infringes applicable regulations.

Through the Website, CETI processes personal data necessary for the following purposes:

  • Responding to enquiries submitted via the contact form;

  • Managing newsletter subscriptions (subscription and unsubscription);

  • Managing registration for training courses;

  • Producing anonymised statistics on Website traffic;

  • Conducting satisfaction surveys;

  • Data retention.

Personal data is retained only for the period necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected.

For newsletter subscriptions, CETI retains data for five (5) years from the last contact. In the event of unsubscription, newsletter distribution will be deactivated.

However, CETI cannot fully control all risks associated with the use of the Internet and draws users’ attention to the potential risks inherent in its operation.

CETI attaches the utmost importance to the protection and security of its information systems. Tools have been implemented to detect potential security vulnerabilities. These tools may incidentally involve access to personal data by security teams. Such data is collected and processed solely for the purpose of managing these vulnerabilities and in compliance with applicable personal data protection regulations.

CETI may amend this Privacy Policy from time to time and will ensure that you are informed either by a specific notice on the Website or by a personalised notification, in particular through newsletter communications.
